Tom Conley

Director – McLarty Associates

Tom Conley, Director, works with clients on trade policy, market access, and regulatory issues in the United States and abroad. Before joining McLarty Associates, he served as Team Lead for Regulatory Barriers at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, where he worked with U.S. agencies, industry stakeholders, and foreign governments to address regulatory trade barriers and represented the U.S. in bilateral and multilateral trade engagements, including at the World Trade Organization.

Previously, Tom served as Director of Defense Industry Maine at the Maine International Trade Center, where he managed a U.S. Department of Defense grant supporting Maine companies seeking to diversify into international markets.

Tom received a Master of Arts in political science from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Maine.
