Overview
A Copper Hill QA Analyst helps ensure product quality across every stage of delivery.
This role partners with Product and Operations to develop test cases and execute
functional, performance, and regression testing using both manual and automated
methods.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with end users to understand
operational workflows and support acceptance testing. This role requires consistent
availability during core business operation hours to support critical business processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute regression, functional, and scenario-based testing aligned to real-world
operational use cases. - Perform bug triage, validate hotfixes, and confirm regression results.
- Partner with Engineering and Product to validate feature readiness, accuracy,
efficiency, and operational fit. - Participate in development planning sessions to understand upcoming features
and user stories. - Design, develop, and execute manual test cases that reflect end-user scenarios.
- Create test data and perform stress testing to evaluate performance at high data
volumes. - Build subject matter expertise in operational processes to identify high-risk
features and develop comprehensive test coverage. - Develop regression test cases and automated tests to support ongoing quality
validation. - Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to log, track, and resolve defects
from discovery through closure. - Partner with operational end users during User Acceptance Testing to address
questions and capture feedback.
Qualifications
- Operations and regulatory experience preferred.
- Customs interactions, audits, and broker coordination experience preferred.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Cross-functional team experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Software development process and tool experience preferred.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress is
a plus. - Experience testing APIs with Postman or similar tools is a plus.
