Project Manager, Client Experience

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex software implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring high-quality delivery, client satisfaction, and internal excellence. This role builds on core project delivery capabilities and emphasizes leadership, client engagement, and continuous improvement across the implementation team. You will play a key role in developing best practices and driving innovation in how we deliver value to our clients. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership 
    • Lead and manage complex implementation projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    • Collaborate closely with Systems Integration Leads to align technical delivery with business goals.
    • Ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality standards. 
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Track progress, manage milestones, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Client Engagement 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
    • Maintain clear and consistent project communication through status updates and reporting.
    • Facilitate testing, validation, and go-live readiness efforts.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement 
    • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and delivery efficiency.
    • Lead project retrospectives to identify, capture, and apply key lessons learned.

 

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in software or SaaS implementation.
    • Proven experience managing client-facing projects with multiple stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
    • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in Customs compliance or logistics.
    • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification.
    • Background in technology, business systems, or consulting environments.
