Marketing Specialist

Location: Copper Hill, Inc. Headquarters – Livonia, MI 

 

Overview: Copper Hill is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the execution of marketing campaigns and key initiatives as we scale our global trade solutions offering.

This role will report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing and work closely with Copper Hill’s fractional marketing leader (operating as a Director of Marketing) to bring strategy to life across brand, content, and demand generation.

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in connecting internal priorities with external execution, serving as a day-to-day partner to both leadership and our external marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career marketer to gain hands-on experience while learning directly from senior marketing leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution & Coordination
    • Execute marketing campaigns across digital, events, email, and content channels
    • Translate strategic direction from internal leadership and external partners into actionable tasks
    • Manage timelines, deliverables, and coordination across initiatives
  • Internal & External Alignment
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison between Copper Hill and its external marketing partner
    • Ensure alignment between internal priorities (Sales, Leadership, Product) and external execution
    • Communicate updates, feedback, and deliverables clearly across teams
  • Event & Initiative Support
    • Support planning and execution of Copper Hill’s flagship event (Copper Summit)
    • Coordinate logistics, vendors, and marketing communications
    • Assist in executing pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing efforts
  • Vendor & Project Management
    • Work closely with external partners to support:
      • Website updates
      • Marketing automation (HubSpot)
      • Creative and content development
    • Track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule and align with expectations
  • Marketing Operations & Reporting

    • Track campaign performance and compile insights for leadership
    • Support reporting on engagement, pipeline contribution, and campaign effectiveness
    • Identify opportunities to improve execution and internal processes

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 0–3 years of marketing experience (internships included; B2B exposure a plus)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate across stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow under both internal leadership and external marketing expertise

 

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing platforms
  • Exposure to digital marketing, events, or content creation
  • Interest in B2B, SaaS, or professional services
