Darren Maynard has more than forty years of experience with leveraging technologies to Grow revenue, improve business processes, reduce costs and improve accountability and compliance.

Darren started his career in the U.K. with the IBM Corporation in the early days of user access to computers. He moved to the USA to run IBM’s Global application team for Manufacturing systems for the UK, Australia and Canada. After thirteen years with IBM in the U.K., Darren moved to the USA permanently and became the CIO of a LEP, a Global freight-forwarder and began his thirty-plus-year career specializing in Global supply chains.

As the Chief Operating officer of NextLinx, a Global Trade software company serving the Fortune fifty corporations, Darren became intimately familiar with the best practices of these global companies who leveraged the software to improves efficiencies and reduce Trade costs. NextLinx later went public and is represented today as E2Open.

For the last nineteen years, Darren has been using his experience and expertise within Trade and Logistics to guide the CEO’s of his client base on devising strategies for Customer acquisition, improving business efficiency and leveraging technology for effectiveness. His current and former client base includes Shipping Lines, Terminal operators, Freight-forwarders, 3PL’s. Managed service providers, Trucking companies and Software providers. Customers include Fedex, Yusen Logistics, SSA Marine, Tote Group, AIT Worldwide, RCS Logistics, UTI, Allstates Worldwide, Integration Point and Copperhill. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Penn State Executive programs.
