Bill Anderson

Bill Anderson serves as Vice President of FTZ Operations & Brokerage at Copper Hill, where he leads the company’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) administration and customs brokerage operations. In this role, he oversees the delivery of FTZ solutions for clients across a variety of industries, helping organizations strengthen compliance, improve operational efficiency, and maximize the financial benefits available through FTZ programs.

With more than a decade of experience implementing and managing FTZ operations in both manufacturing and distribution environments, Bill has developed deep expertise in the design, activation, administration, and optimization of complex FTZ programs. He works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements while helping organizations navigate evolving trade regulations and operational challenges.

As one of Copper Hill’s FTZ leaders, Bill plays an important role in advancing the company’s integrated approach to global trade management, combining technology, data, and expert services to deliver scalable solutions that drive measurable business value. His focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance helps clients reduce risk, improve visibility, and unlock opportunities for duty savings and process improvement.

Prior to entering the global trade industry, Bill spent 15 years in banking and financial services, holding leadership positions in branch management and credit administration. This background provides him with a unique perspective on business operations, financial performance, and client service.

Bill is a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker, holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Illinois State University, and is an active member of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones.
