Team Leader, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

Job Description

The Team Leader will be responsible for managing client relationships and leading a team of
individual contributors. The Team Leader will partner with other Team Leaders and Management to
successfully meet our clients’ needs. This position includes supervising, supporting, and monitoring
direct report team members in addition to maintaining a daily workload.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of FTZ analysts.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in internal and external training.
  • Partner with internal and external clients to identify process improvements and assist in
    implementing solutions
  • Prepare and deliver client metrics and KPIs.
  • Create, propose and/or draft compliant client processes and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Regulatory FTZ knowledge.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Major in Business, Supply Chain
    Management, Logistics, or an Operations Management related field is a plus but is not
    required.

Preferred Experience

  • 4+ years Customs/compliance experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience administering foreign trade zones.
  • Preferred: experience managing individual contributors.
