Michelle Giuda

Michelle Giuda is CEO of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue, leading its mission to ensure technology advances freedom. From 2018 to 2020, she served as the Assistant Secretary of State for Global Public Affairs and, in 2019, as acting Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy, where she led the State Department’s largest restructuring in two decades. Previously, she was Executive Vice President of Geopolitical Strategy & Risk at Weber Shandwick, the world’s largest publicly held communications firm. Giuda received her Master’s Degree in Political Management from George Washington University and earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA where she was an NCAA Champion Team Member and Team Captain of the UCLA Women’s Gymnastics Team.
