Request History #
The Request page displays all requests associated with your workload, including those marked as Open, In Progress, or Complete. Users can efficiently navigate and manage requests using the built-in filter tool and the workload status pie chart for quick visual insights. From this screen, you can also submit new requests as needed. To view the full history and details of a specific request, click the arrow next to it to open the Request Details page. Request data can be exported and downloaded in Excel format for further analysis or record-keeping.

Click on the arrow in the top left corner to expand the pie chart. Clicking on the pie’s slices will initiate filtering.
Clicking the filter icon will allow you to set more customized filters.
New Request #
To create a new request, select the +New Request button located in the top right corner. A prompt will then appear to choose the type of request to be submitted. The available request types will vary depending on the modules included in the user’s subscription.

Close Service Request #
The Close Service Request allows users to close workloads or related requests in bulk. This feature is available through the Requests tab and is designed to help users efficiently manage and close multiple items at once.
Navigate to Requests from the main application menu and select + New Request. To submit a Service Request, select Service from the Request Type dropdown.

When prompted to choose Request Origin, select Close FTA Workload, Close Solicitation, Close Internal Qualification, or Close Customer Qualification. Selecting the FTA Workload option allows users to close specific FTA workloads directly. This action closes the workload but does not mark the part as complete. If a new request is submitted for the same part, the workload may be reopened.
Selecting one of the Request options allows users to close a specific request line. This does not close FTA workload. However, if no other requests are open for that part/FTA combo, then the workload will be closed as a result.

Each request type uses specific criteria to determine which request lines are closed:
- Solicitation Requests are evaluated based on HS Country, FTA Supplier Code, Part Number, Part Description, Blanket Start and End dates, End Use, and Notes.
- Internal Qualification Requests use HS Country, FTA, Source Code, Part Number, Blanket Start and End dates, End Use, and Notes.
- Customer Qualification Requests use HS Country, Customer, FTA, Customer Source Code, Customer Part Number, Blanket Start and End dates, End Use, and Notes.
In this example, we are closing an FTA workload. On the next screen, enter the criteria used to identify the FTA workload(s) to be closed.
- HS Country
- FTA
- Source Code
- Part Number
- Blanket Start Date
- Blanket End Date
- End Use
- Notes

Select + Add to add a new row. To edit an existing row, select the gray pencil icon, which also provides the option to update all applicable fields. Users can download a template to enter information in bulk and re‑upload the completed file using Upload. A green checkmark indicates that all required information has been successfully added and is ready to submit.
After entering and reviewing the required information, submit the Service Request. Any matching FTA workloads will move to Closed status and be removed from active qualification workflows. When an FTA workload is closed, the system automatically applies existing logic to close related parent workloads, including parent solicitation or qualification workloads and parent request line workloads, once all associated FTA workloads are in a Complete or Closed status.
If an FTA workload is already marked Complete and is closed through a Service Request, it will move to Closed status and any saved FTA eligibility information will be inactivated and removed from the application.
After submission, users can open the request line from the Requests screen to review additional details. Expanding the request line displays the associated FTA, part, and source information for each closed line, similar to standard FTA results. If no matching records are found for the submitted part and code combination, the results will display “No Matches”.
Close vs. Mark Complete
Understanding the difference between Closing and Marking Complete helps ensure FTA workloads are handled correctly.
Mark Complete:
- Indicates the FTA analysis is finished and a determination has been made.
- Retains FTA eligibility results and related data.
- Keeps the workload available for reference and reporting.
- Used when qualification work has been fully completed.
Close:
- Indicates the FTA workload is no longer needed.
- Removes the workload from active qualification workflows.
- Does not mark the part as complete.
- If closed from a Complete status, any saved FTA eligibility information is inactivated and removed from the application.
- The workload may reopen if a new request is submitted using the same criteria.
Classification Request Details #
To view detailed information about a request, click on the request to open the Request Details screen. This page displays key request information such as Request Name, Date, Type, Requestor, Origin, Entry Number or Project Name, and Due Date. It also provides details about the parts included in the request, including Status, Result, Part Number, Description, Classification Type, Client Plant, Notes, and Technical Contact. The part list can be filtered and downloaded as an Excel file. Additionally, relevant attachments can be added directly on this screen. Once a request is completed, the HTS code will appear in the Results column.

Classification Request #
Users that subscribe to the Classification module will be able to send Classification Requests through this screen. You will select Classification from the drop-down menu and fill in the required information.
Request Name: Required. Provide a name for the request. Project name, PO number, or shipment number are common examples.
Additional Notification Addresses: Optional. Specify additional email addresses of recipients to be notified when the request is complete.
Request Origin: Required. The request origin represents the workload/process driving the classification request.
Due Date: Optional. Indicate the date in which the HTS code is required. Shipment arrival date, for example.
Entry Number/Project: Optional. Provide Entry Number for the request. For US entries, follow the format of FilerCode-EntryNumber-CheckDigit
Reference Attachments: Optional. Include documents that are pertinent to the request. These documents may include invoices, BOLs, or other reference material.
Once everything is filled out, select Next to move to the Part Details screen

On the following screen, part numbers and part details can be added to the request. Rows may be added manually by selecting the +Add button and entering the required information, or data can be imported using a completed template. To paste part details, at least one row must first be added manually; the grid will then automatically expand to fit all pasted rows. As part details are entered, the system performs real-time validations. Hovering over any error icons in rows or cells will display error descriptions. All validation errors must be resolved before the request can be submitted.
Part Number: Required. If no part number is available, refer to Broker SOP to determine a unique identifier. If no other unique identifier is determined, use the magic wand icon to generate one.
Part Description: Required.
Classification Type: Required. Drop-down of possible options.
