Classification Dashboard

The Copper Hill Classification Dashboard provides a centralized view of classification activity and workload across the user’s universe. The dashboard offers an at‑a‑glance view of key classification metrics, including workload status, completed classifications, and request volumes, presented through interactive charts and tables. Users can analyze trends, monitor classification requests, and review activity across selectable time periods. Interactive filtering and chart selection allow users to isolate specific data points, enabling deeper insight into classification performance and workload patterns.

The Classification Dashboard summary boxes show the following totals:

Total Completed Classifications, Total Completed Parts, Needed for Qualification, Needed for Live Shipment.

Within the Classification dashboard, users can view classification requests from a selected period (today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 60 days, last 90 days).

The interactive circle chart shows the breakdown of total workload by Pending, Pending Answer, Pending Review, Open, Complete, Question Answered, Closed, Pending Rework, and Expired.

Clicking on a section of the circle expands the breakdown by workload status. The example below shows the dashboard filtered to Pending Answer after selecting that segment of the circle chart.

Users can also view the number of classification requests categorized by classification type. Selecting a value in the graph updates the data displayed in the tables and graphs below accordingly.

Users can view bar graphs that display classification requests and parts, as well as completed classifications and parts, organized by month. Selecting a value in the table will isolate that corresponding value in the bar graph.

The pie chart below shows requests by classification type. This pie chart can also isolate the data selected from the Classification Requested table.

The dashboard allows users to filter data by Request Origin, Classification Type, Client Plant, and Project Name. Time frame filters are also available, including options such as days, weeks, months, years, today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 60 days, and last 90 days. Selecting any of these filters will update the dashboard to display the corresponding information.

First Yield Pass #

The First Pass Yield chart shows the percentage of classification requests that are completed without requiring follow‑up questions. This metric highlights how often requests can be successfully processed on the initial submission and provides insight into overall data quality, as higher first pass yield reflects more complete and accurate request information. A higher first pass yield also supports faster turnaround times, since requests that do not require clarification move through the classification process more efficiently.

Average Cycle Times #

The Average Cycle Times chart displays two stacked cycle times to compare overall processing speed for classification requests. It shows the average time required to complete requests that did not require any follow‑up questions alongside the average time for requests that required additional questions and responses. This comparison provides visibility into how quickly classification requests are handled and clearly illustrates how much additional time is introduced when clarification is needed during the process.
