CH Connect Classification Q and A

Classification Questions #

The Copper Hill team may request additional information necessary to classify the items requested. Through a web-based interface, CH Connect allows users to provide answers to questions from the Copper Hill team to complete classification requests.

The process will begin with an email from noreply@copperhill.com. Please ensure this address is saved as a recognized sender.

The email, including its subject line, will reference the name of the user’s company. It will include an Excel template listing the parts that require additional information, along with specific questions from the Copper Hill team.

A link provided in the email will direct users to a CH Connect session tailored to the questions they need to answer. No sign-in is required to access the session.

Classification Question Response Template #

The Excel template is populated with the part number(s) and their descriptions, along with each question requiring additional information. There are two ways to provide answers to the pending questions: (1) Save a copy of the completed template to upload into CH Connect, or (2) Provide the answers directly into CH Connect.

To proceed with option 1 above, fill out responses in the Answer column. If multiple questions have been asked, each question will have its own row. Please respond in the appropriate row for each question.

Classification Question Response Upload #

Use the link provided in the No Reply email to access the CH Connect session. Once the session is open, upload either the completed template you’ve saved or the blank template included in the email.

If uploading the blank template, responses must be entered directly within the system in the following step. Uploading a template, completed or blank, is required to proceed.

After uploading the file, click Next to continue.

Classification Question Response Validate #

If a blank template was uploaded in the previous step, users should enter responses to the open questions directly within the system. If a completed template was uploaded, the answers will automatically populate in the answer field of the grid and can be edited prior to moving forward.

While it is strongly recommended to respond to all questions, it is not required in order to proceed. Any unanswered questions will trigger a validation error on the corresponding row.

Once all responses have been reviewed and finalized, users may click Next to continue.

Classification Question Response Signature #

After reviewing and proceeding with the answers provided, the user will sign the response by inputting their email address into the Responder Email field. This field is required before proceeding.

The Submit button will be available once a valid email has been added. Clicking Submit will provide the answers to the Copper Hill team.

Classification Question Response Done #

The Classification Question Response has been submitted to the Copper Hill team. If the request contained multiple questions, and answers were not initially provided for all, select Submit Another Response to provide additional answers on this inquiry.
