Part Search #
CH Connect Part Search provides users with on-demand access to classification and FTA qualification details. Users can search up to 200 parts at a time by either copying and pasting a list or manually entering part numbers. Once the search is initiated, results are displayed across four collapsible sections: Classification, Country of Origin, US FTA, and EU FTA. To refine the output, users can apply filter criteria that tailor the results to specific needs.
After reviewing the results, users have the option to export a copy of the data. The exported file will include separate tabs for each section that contains results. If a broader dataset is needed beyond the 200-part limit, users should refer to existing data feeds or file-sharing methods already in place.
To perform a new search, users can reset the current view and enter different part numbers.

Classification Results will provide Status, Part Numbers, Description and Classification Type for all records. HTS will populate when a Classification Type has been completed.
The possible statuses are:
Complete: The HTS for the part/classification type combination has been determined and is available for use. If the item is intangible, the HTS field will display “Intangible” without an HTS.
In Progress: The part/classification type combination has been requested and is being worked by the Copper Hill team.
Closed: It was determined that the part/classification type combination was no longer required. If now required, please submit a classification request.

Country of Origin Results will show based on Manufacturer Affidavits (MA). Once an MA has been processed by the Copper Hill team, the status will show as Determined and the County of Origin will be displayed in results. The possible statuses are:
Determined: The part is recognized, MA is completed, and County of Origin has been provided.
Obsolete: The part is recognized but is no longer being manufactured by the vendor.
DNR (Do Not Recognize): The vendor does not recognize the part number and is unable to respond.

US FTA Detail Results will show a record per FTA completed. The possible statuses are:
Eligible: The part has been determined to be eligible for the given FTA/vendor combination.
Not Eligible: The part has been determined to be not eligible for the given FTA/vendor combination.
Obsolete: The part is recognized but is no longer being manufactured by the vendor.
DNR (Do Not Recognize): The vendor does not recognize the part number and is unable to respond.

EU FTA Detail Results will show a record per FTA completed. Records for EU and GB trade agreements will show in this section.
