Job Description
This role focuses on supporting applications built on a C#/.NET backend, Angular/TypeScript front end, and data services leveraging Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Azure Service Bus, and various Azure Functions. You’ll dig into issues, monitor system health, handle client onboarding tasks, and collaborate with engineering when escalations are needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle support tickets related to internal and client-facing applications, including custom C#/.NET + Angular systems and business tools such as Microsoft Access and Smartsheet.
- Monitor inbound and outbound data feeds, ensuring timely processing and successful delivery across Azure (Service Bus queues/topics, Functions, and related services).
- Track database performance for both SQL Server and Cosmos DB to confirm smooth and timely loads.
- Troubleshoot application errors across the stack (API, UI, data, Azure services).
- Execute client onboarding tasks—configuring new feeds, generating connection setups, and validating initial data loads.
- Document recurring issues, support procedures, and knowledge-based articles.
- Work closely with development teams when deeper investigation or fixes are required.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of SQL, including writing queries, analyzing performance, and interpreting execution plans.
- Basic familiarity with C#/.NET, Angular/TypeScript, or similar languages (enough to read and troubleshoot application logs).
- Working knowledge of relational data design and general data-flow concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally Azure (Service Bus, Functions, storage).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to break down complex issues clearly.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced support environment.
